25/32MM Avon 2 Frame Supported Glazing Bars

Avon 2 frame supported glazing bars are designed for jointing 25 & 32mm thick polycarbonate on larger types of timber framed roofs, they are also robust enough to self support on spans up to 600mm.
Designed by C&A and manufactured in England, Avon bars have a strong aluminium 58mm wide core which is capped top & bottom by brown or white uPVC cladding. The caps totally conceal the metalwork and give good thermal insulation. For end bars use the same glazing bar and fit an edge bead featured. Choose to add the end caps now by ticking the box and save time, if you prefer you can add these when you buy your other accessories.

25mm End Bar Infills

25mm End Bar Infills

25mm End Bar Infills are used with Avon or the Peak system glazing bars when using 25mm sheets. They are used to provide a finish to the first and last bar in roof. They have been specially designed to mimic a polycarbonate sheet so as to allow the correct loading when the top cap of the glazing bar is pushed home, ensuring a uniform pressure on the polycarbonate sheets when fixed down.

Eaves Retainer

This totally new section closes eaves cavity under sheets and hooks into the sheet enclosures to securely hold the polycarbonate multiwall sheets. This helps to prevent slippage on sloping roofs. These eaves retainers also help prevent excessive pressure on the end caps.
